Thanks everyone who raced, spectated and contributed.

Bedgebury Forest Cycle Club (BFCC) welcomes you to the “BFCC Racing XCC Series 2026”. Grass
roots mountain bike racing at it’s very best, featuring a fun sub-4km XCC course through the
woodland, based mainly on non-technical single-track and “natural” trails, with shorter loops for the
U8, U10 and U12 races.

We welcome riders of all ages and abilities, from first time racers to seasoned experts, offering XC
races and categories for U8’s to Masters. We use an electronic race timing system to record the
riders positions.

This year we have a 3 event race series, with trophies awarded to the top 3 riders in each category
across the series. Please make sure you enter the correct age catagory and race!

Entry is ONLINE ONLY for all U14/Juvenille, U16/Youth, U18s/Junior, Senior, and Masters – Entry
CLOSES AT 23.00 ON THE THURSDAY BEFORE THE EVENT – no late entries! Enter online via British Cycling

Entry is on the day for U8s, U10s, and U12s ONLY – Please bring £2 CASH for these categories, NO
CARDS TAKEN!

Ride whatever bike you’ve got on our new improved race track! Under Go-Ride rules, just about any off-road bike goes (with the exception of e-bikes of course), so if you have a mountain bike, gravel bike, or cyclocross bike, come and get stuck in!

On race days, we’re looking for help with registration, marshalling, lap scoring, first-aid, commissaire(ing), course building/repairs, photography, and welfare. Behind the scenes we’re looking for more people to help design and shape our course, help with admin, promotion, coaching, and ideas for improvements. If you think you have any way to help (even if it’s not listed), please get in touch.

Please arrive as early as possible for signing-on, as it gets very busy, and keep in mind that it’ll take around 15 minutes to get from the car-park (add in faff time)! Don’t forget water and a snack!
