Club Questionnaire

As part of a continuing drive by the committee to get more members involved in activities and developing the facilities to suit the wants and needs of them, there will shortly be a questionnaire issued to all listed members, as well as a copy being posted here on the website, to allow everyone to have their say and input

It's in the late stages of development and it is hoped it will be issued in the next few weeks so, when you recieve your copy, please take the time to complete it and return to the Club.

Thanks.

Club News Updated 23rd September 2007

Events Calendar

At last (I hear you cry) the events calendar has been updated and can be found here with all the info you might ever need.

There's a bit more structure to the events and this should make it easier each month to know what's happening when. All well and good so far but there is one thing still missing- you!

There's a new structure to the club rides whereby no matter what your abilities, the ride will be used to help you improve your trail technique as well as having a bit of a social with other riders. So, if the kids seem to need a bit of catching up on, nows your chance!

There's also the return of the Night Rides... these are regarded as a completely different kind of ride, hard work but very fulfilling and a lot of fun (allegedly) so if you fancy giving it a go then Thursday nights your time to try! The club has two sets of lights for loan but they are on a strictly first come first served basis...

For more details, just contact the person in charge of the event that interests you and hope to see you out and about soon.

Bike Maintenance Courses

Quench Cycles are going to be running some course in bike maintenance over the coming months. There are 3 levels of course to choose from and the prices are very competitive... and even more so if you are a club member! They are run by trained mechanics so you'll be in good hands...

If you want to take the first steps on the ladder or want to hone and improve those skills you already have then follow this link and see what's on offer.

Numbers are strictly limited on each course to ensure each participant gets enough time to take in the information and get the feedback they need.

The club is lucky to have a commitment like this from David for BFCC members so if we can make a success of it, more course may be run later.
