Bedgebury Forest Cycle Club is based at the Forestry Commission site at Bedgebury on the Sussex/Kent border and close to Goudhurst.
Directions from M25
Exit at Junction 5 (if coming from the North follow signs for A21 Sevenoaks or Hastings) (If coming from the South follow
signs for M26/A21, as soon as you are on the M26 take the 1st exit signposted A21 Sevenoaks or Hastings)
Follow A21 for approx 25 miles. You will pass a ‘Little Chef’ on your left hand side, shortly after this the A21
appears to be a dual carriageway with one lane closed. Take a left onto the B2079 signposted to Bedgebury Pinetum & Forest.
The entrance to Bedgebury is after ˝ mile on the right hand side.
Directions from Hastings
Exit Hastings on the A21 north. Follow the A21 for approx 16 miles and you will pass the Ashdene Petrol Station, shortly
after this the A21 appears to be a dual carriageway with one lane closed. Take a right onto the B2079 signposted to Bedgebury
Pinetum & Forest. The entrance to Bedgebury is after ˝ mile on the right hand side.
Directions from Goudhurst
Take the B2079 out of Goudhurst (to the left of the pond in the centre of the village and follow this for approximately 3
miles. Pass Bedgebury School the entrance to the Forestry Commission offices and Old Pinetum car park (all on the left-hand
side) and the entrance to Bedgebury is on the left-hand side after another ˝ mile.
Bedgebury Forest Owned by the Forestry Commission Bedgebury Forest is just over 800 hectares in size and is home to the National Pinetum
(link to Bedgebury National Pinetum below) as well as many kilometres of traffic free walking, horseriding and CYCLING! There
is also a very large children’s Adventure Play trail suitable for kids of all ages! The forest has a new visitor
centre with café, showers and cycle shop with hire and, new this year, will be GoApe
Bedgebury National Pinetum Bedgebury National Pinetum is set in landscaped gardens in the gentle rolling Conifer Collection, probably the largest
collection of conifers in the World. Bedgebury National Pinetum and Forest is owned by the Forestry Commission
