Become a coach at Bedgebury

As part of our coaching strategy we at BFCC have identified that we require an additional coach to join the existing three coaches. In order to deliver a high quality course and to achieve optimum rider enjoyment we have determined that our course will have a minimum of two coaches per course. As volunteers the demand on our personal time can and will be significant, however with this additional coach we hope to make such demands a little easy for all.

On the point of commitment - please do not underestimate the commitment required as a coach and the impact on your own personal time. The majority of coaching sessions are at times when everyone else is off - weekends, school holidays etc. In addition we endeavour to support school development programmes which require our support during normal working school hours. This does mean that we as coaches do and have committed our own holiday time to the Club.

As for the training course please see the British Cycling website for more detailed information.

Being a coach is great fun and offers many rewarding moments. We need someone who shares our passion and commitment to the sport. If interested please download the Coach Application Form, complete and return to Gary Scott at the address indicated on the form.

Thank you for your interest.
